Principal Firmware EngineerJason Maranhao has been developing embedded systems for over 20 years. In this time, he has developed critical applications for implantable wireless heart-rate monitoring systems, autonomous underwater robots, wireless Internet of Things (IoT) for oil well monitoring, and uninterruptable power supply (UPS) monitoring. Jason holds an M.B.A of International Business from Johnson and Wales University, and B.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of Rhode Island. Jason has also served and is an infantry veteran of the U.S. Marines. When Jason is not developing new systems, he is out running marathons, completing four and qualified for the Boston Marathon. He also has a passion for Coffee and has turned this passion into a small business.
